Weston is blessed with so much outdoor space to enjoy, here is our selection of the top parks and playground available to visit.


Ashcombe Park

Ashcombe park, situated on Milton hillside boasts 2 very separate play areas, one at the bottom of the hill and one at the top. You can spend hours here as in between the two play areas there is plenty of green space and wooded areas to explore.

It's a great spot for a picnic or there is a cafe which is open seasonally, serving snacks, hot and cold drinks and of course ice creams!

Clarence Park

Clarence park is situated near the sea front in Weston, it's got a great enclosed play area with equipment for all ages.

There is loads of green space for running around, games and picnics.

Grove Park

Grove park is situated in the town centre, a short walk from the High Street onto the hillside.

This park is made up of lovely gardens and well tended individual areas which are great for exploring. The park is managed by a group of volunteers who have put together downloadable trails through the park.

There is also a bandstand and a large circular pond with a children's play area up at the top of the hillside.

Worlebury Woods

Worlebury Woods is a great playground for all the family, including your dogs!

There is loads of space to explore, if you enter the woods from Worlebury Hill Road there is an old roman road which has an accessible path leading to an old roman hill fort. Alongside the path you can find a great wooden play area including a zip wire.
