Play Wild and Sound Explorers have come together to bring you Midsummer Music. This is an outdoor music group for families with children under 5 years old. Activities are based around sound, song and music and are facilitated by a qualified music teacher and a Forest School Leader. Along-side the music themed activities there will be an opportunity to explore and play, all with a Midsummers theme.

The group is small due to current restrictions so please help us by booking places for all adults and children attending. We will monitor the bookings and restrictions and add additional tickets where we are able. (all adults attending MUST book or may be turned away). As with all of our sessions, if you, or your child, have any Covid symptoms please do not attend the event. Contact us and we can advise you.

The quarry is up Wood Lane, off Bristol Road Lower (not the Old Town Quarry). We request that you park on the main road or other local streets so that our neighbours are not inconvenienced.

Directions: Walk up Wood Lane to the end of the tarmac and then follow the path straight up into the woods. A small clearing will open on your right with a big oak tree and big green gates. What3Words location is: Forgot.rarely.bared.

We will meet at the gate for 10am. The gate will be locked for safeguarding and security so, if you arrive after 10am, please ring 07391 556939 and we will come and let you in! This session is suitable for children around 2 years plus. If your child is younger, is steady on their feet and you feel that they would benefit then we would love to see you (younger siblings welcome).

PLEASE NOTE:  The quarry is uneven underfoot so not suitable for buggies or people with limited mobility. Long trousers recommend. Sorry no dogs.
